As a Security Officer Licensed Patrol Guard in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist riders and visitors with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directions and general questions, and help to support orderly operations during routine activity and/or service disruptions.
  • Work closely with site contacts, first responders, and/or local agencies when needed, following post orders and instructions related to government location protocols.
