As a Security Officer Licensed Patrol Guard in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transit location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist riders and visitors with professionalism and care. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directions and general questions, and help to support orderly operations during routine activity and/or service disruptions.
Work closely with site contacts, first responders, and/or local agencies when needed, following post orders and instructions related to government location protocols.
