Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying credentials, observing deliveries, and reporting unusual conditions, equipment issues, and/or policy violations.
• Support Allied Universal and site management with incident reporting, shift activity logs, and routine observations related to security-related procedures, operational activity, and/or facility rules.
