Your role at a glance Key Roles and Responsibilities: Ensures that all employees, clients, vendors, and visitors on company property have proper company-issued identification. Patrols assigned post on foot to maintain visibility and observes possible unusual activity. Ensures that the client, its associates, and NTT Data Centre personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment. Investigates, address if possible, and report security, maintenance, and safety conditions. Ensures daily administrative documentation is concise and complete at all times. Maintains assigned equipment is functional and in presentable condition. Assist personnel with requests Completes various company or client assignments as required. Assists with Shipping and Receiving tasks. Responds to emergencies- coordinates with local emergency management resources Investigates and reports fires, evacuations, hazardous situations/other facility related events. Maintains familiarity of Security procedures and policies in addition to Company policies. Exposure to investigations involving security related accidents/incidents, interviews witnesses, complaints, and victims; gather and preservation of property Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements

• Strong observational and surveillance skills, with the ability to detect and respond to security threats or breaches effectively

• Must be able to respond to emergency situations at the data centre
• Must be willing to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, late nights, holidays and be part of on-call protocol
• High School diploma or GED required
• Basic experience with standard methods, practices, tools and equipment for the security team
• Basic experience in security roles, preferably in a data centre or similar environment.
• Basic experience in the administration and operation of: access control systems, CCTV systems with digital recording, and photo ID systems preferred.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential for satisfactory performance.

Nice To Haves

• Additional education or training in security-related fields is a plus
• Possession of relevant certifications such as Certified Security Guard (CSG) or Certified Protection Officer (CPO)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (can be obtained in first 6 months working for NTT)
