As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help protect people, packages, and operations by monitoring access, conducting screening procedures, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and support a positive experience for visitors and employees. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • X-Ray Screening Experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and other authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization before allowing entry to restricted operational areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; report observations and complete required documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
