As a Front Desk Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors, managing access, monitoring activity, and supporting security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Monitor visitor and driver arrivals, assist with access control processes, issue credentials as needed, and/or document entry and exit activity for the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and first responders when appropriate.
  • Support front desk operations in a logistics and distribution location by answering questions, directing guests, receiving deliveries, and reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns.
