As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Credential Authorization in Coatesville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct personnel to designated areas in accordance with facility procedures.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and complete required documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the industrial location.
• Assist with controlling vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates, inspect authorized entry documentation, and report unusual activity or policy violations to site leadership.
