About The Position

As a Security Officer Incident Response in White Plains, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Must have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, passengers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points and public areas at a transportation facility, verifying authorized entry and reporting unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of station areas, platforms, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs related to incidents, patrols, access activity, and security-related observations.
