About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Incident Response in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control and visitor interactions, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following facility protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Assist with access control, visitor direction, and monitoring of restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to supervisors and facility personnel.
