About The Position

As a Security Officer Incident Response in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Professional supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and support for daily operations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

Requirements

Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established government location protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, buildings, access points, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.
