About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Operations in Marion, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol hospital areas, helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include responding to security-related incidents, supporting staff during patient restraints when needed, monitoring morgue access, and providing compassionate customer service. Requirements

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be comfortable working in a hospital environment with a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving patients, visitors, and staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and property perimeters; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
