About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Security in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a caring environment through teamwork and integrity. Requirements

Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as required, directing visitors, and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
