As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Unit in Grove City, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and first responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general questions, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
