As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Unit in Grove City, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional customer service and communication. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and first responders when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general questions, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
