As an Armed Security Officer - Hospital Patrol - Morning Shift in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess supervisory experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical facility concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including preparing clear incident documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, helping to control access, verify credentials when required, and/or report suspicious behavior in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Support a healthcare location by assisting with de-escalation, coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed, and maintaining a professional armed presence.
