Requirements

Must have 1+ years of security-related experience.
Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols throughout the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, provide directions and assistance to visitors, and document security-related activities, observations, and/or incidents according to site procedures.
Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with crowd management and traffic flow, and relaying important information during medical and/or facility-related events.
