About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Unit in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Ability to meet hospital vaccination requirements is required.
Ability to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and other unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access control practices, visitor interactions, and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
Support daily operations by communicating with staff and first responders when needed, following post orders, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
