About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Specialist in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Hospital vaccination requirements apply.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, helping to manage access, direct foot traffic, and support a professional environment for everyone on site.
  • Document incidents, visitor interactions, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or site contacts as needed.
