As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Driver in Niceville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
  • Must be willing to work in or around a hospital morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
  • Have at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
