About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Driver in Wilson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

Hospital vaccination requirements apply.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Support daily operations at a technology-focused location by maintaining awareness of the environment, following post orders, and completing routine reports related to security-related activities.
