About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Driver in Wilson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Hospital vaccination requirements apply.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support daily operations at a technology-focused location by maintaining awareness of the environment, following post orders, and completing routine reports related to security-related activities.
