As a Security Officer Hospital Patient Support in Rockport, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a healthcare location. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Respond professionally to sensitive situations, including restricted areas and individuals requiring intervention, while using communication and computer skills to support daily operations. Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be comfortable working in a hospital morgue.
  • Be able to restrain individuals.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures while maintaining a professional, service-oriented presence.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
