As a Security Officer Hospital Security in Asheville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Assist with visitor access procedures, directions, and other customer service needs while maintaining a professional presence.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific requirements.
