Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Must be able to work in a hospital environment, including the morgue.
Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals when required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, while observing and reporting unusual activity.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and reporting suspicious behavior or unauthorized persons in accordance with location procedures.
Support a professional environment by helping to deter disruptions, offering directions to visitors, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or hazard-related concerns observed during patrols.
