About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Morgue Security in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to evolving needs. Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Be able to restrain individuals as needed.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor-management procedures in accordance with site policies.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
