As a Security Officer Hospital Interior Patrol in Bartlett, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Our Security Officers patrol hospital areas, helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals as required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with directions and access-related questions as needed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate site personnel.
