About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Emergency Support Patrol in Bellflower, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, documenting observations and incidents through required reporting procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with directions, escorts, and other security-related support needs across the location.
