About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Deescalation Patrol in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access, and directing visitors in accordance with facility procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
