As a Security Officer Hospital Care Patrol in Milton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to de-escalate tense interactions and notify appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies, offering directions and assistance to visitors, patients, and staff as appropriate.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or policy-related concerns in clear reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, staff, and/or emergency responders as needed.
