About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Alarm Patrol in Milton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid are preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing foot traffic, and support a professional presence for patient care areas and other sensitive locations.
  • Assist with handling medical facility related calls for service, support de-escalation when appropriate, and follow post orders for reporting, escalation, and/or emergency notification procedures.
