About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Access Control in Anaheim, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, assist with visitor direction and screening processes, and support security-related operations involving restricted areas, after-hours access, and/or sensitive departments.
  • Complete routine reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and policy concerns while following Allied Universal standards and location-specific guidelines.
