As a Security Officer HOA Access Control in Mission Viejo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding customer service and communication. You will complete routine patrols, observe access activity, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or property concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, communicate with residents and/or authorized personnel, and report suspicious behavior or unauthorized entry attempts.
  • Support a professional residential environment by observing site conditions, reporting maintenance or life-threatening concerns to the appropriate contacts, and following Allied Universal post instructions.
