About The Position

Securitas USA is actively hiring Security Officers for positions in New Carlisle, IN. The Security Officer/Guard position is full-time, with pay starting at $19.00 per hour. Multiple shift availabilities include 1st Shift (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM), 2nd Shift (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM), and 3rd Shift (12:00 AM - 8:00 AM). Weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) are required. The role involves ensuring safety by observing and reporting activities, protecting client property and personnel, and maintaining vigilance through frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and navigating uneven terrain. The position also requires the ability to stand, walk for extended periods, and navigate stairs and steps. No prior experience is necessary, and training is provided, making it ideal for individuals with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds. The Security Officer acts as a resource for customer service and information, actively monitors premises, and patrols locations to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Requirements

Pass a drug screen and background check.
Valid driver's license.
Meet all state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be available for weekend shifts.
