Requirements

• Hospital positions require compliance with applicable vaccination requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying permissions, observing visitor activity, and reporting security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Support daily operations at a government healthcare location by remaining visible, assisting with directions, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
