Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Required vaccinations for a hospital environment are required.
  • This position is in a hospital environment and may include work in or around a morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access, assist visitors, and report security-related concerns to site contacts.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or daily activities in required reports, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site personnel.
