About The Position

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, assisting with access control, and supporting security-related concerns in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and/or document observations and actions taken according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials where required, and/or report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
• Support emergency response activities by assisting with directions, crowd management, and communication during medical, fire, and/or other site incidents as outlined by post orders.
