About The Position

As a Security Officer Graveyard Front Desk in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming presence at a residential location, helping to manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related operations through clear communication and customer service. In this stationary role, you will use teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach to help create a professional environment while delivering reliable and innovative service each day.

Requirements

  • Six or more months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor the front desk area, greet visitors, verify identification and/or authorization, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with location policies.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, receive and relay information, and support front desk operations with clear communication and accurate documentation of security-related activities.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by observing lobby activity, monitoring entry points and/or cameras, and reporting unusual behavior or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
