As a Security Officer Front Desk in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor badge activity, and support key security-related communications. This stationary role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, stays organized with computer-based tasks, and values teamwork. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, assisting visitors, employees, and drivers, and addressing security-related concerns in a professional manner.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, processing guest check-ins, maintaining visitor logs, and helping to deter unauthorized entry to offices, shipping areas, and other restricted spaces.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
  • Support day-to-day front desk operations by answering phones, providing directions, observing lobby activity, and documenting security-related events, deliveries, and unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities by following post orders, relaying information to the appropriate contacts, and helping guide employees and visitors during site disruptions or evacuations.
