As a Security Officer Graveyard Dispatch in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic financial institution location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, document incidents, and help to deter security-related concerns through strong awareness and service. Requirements

  • Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize calls for service, and coordinate the assignment of security-related personnel to routine and/or urgent incidents.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting key details and relaying updates to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Observe alarm activity, camera systems, and other reporting tools to help identify unusual conditions and support timely security-related responses.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift communications to support continuity of operations and help to deter unauthorized activity.
