As a Security Officer Government Building Access Control in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout an innovative technology-focused location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
  • Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
