As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a government and healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and maintain a visible presence that may help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and provide respectful customer service to staff and visitors. Requirements

Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

A guard card or license is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, contractors, and/or visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and access control procedures in government and healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, perimeter fencing, parking and vehicle storage areas, loading areas, and interior corridors to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting emergencies, assisting with crowd control, and/or supporting first responders as directed by site procedures.
Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents, and communicate status updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management per reporting requirements.
Monitor cameras, alarms, gates, and/or secured doors, verify credentials, and help to manage visitor processing and property intake or release activities as authorized by site policy.
