About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Rover in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to requests with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document observations and support daily operations while working with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring culture that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and post orders at a government aviation location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of terminals, curbside areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and restricted areas; verify credentials when required; and report access issues through the appropriate channels.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public agency personnel as directed.
  • Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate shift handoffs, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
