About The Position
As a Security Officer Government Building Patrol in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at an innovative technology-focused location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms, communicate professionally with personnel and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as assigned, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Observe and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents, completing accurate activity and incident reports.
