As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry and exit points, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and document activity using site systems. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, and support a professional environment that helps to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
Control access at entrances and vehicle gates by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing temporary credentials, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and directing traffic flow to approved areas.
Monitor cameras, alarms, radios, and access control systems, and report irregular conditions according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and coordinating with site personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
