Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or deliveries by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control policies at the community entry point.
Verify visitor identification, confirm authorization as required, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and document entries and exits using logbooks and/or access control systems.
Monitor gates, barriers, intercoms, and cameras as assigned, reporting irregular activity and/or maintenance concerns through the established chain of communication.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate and completing required reports.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the community grounds, amenities, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
