Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or deliveries by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control policies at the community entry point.
  • Verify visitor identification, confirm authorization as required, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and document entries and exits using logbooks and/or access control systems.
  • Monitor gates, barriers, intercoms, and cameras as assigned, reporting irregular activity and/or maintenance concerns through the established chain of communication.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate and completing required reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the community grounds, amenities, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
