As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and support security-related protocols that help reduce risk to people and operations. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and deliver customer-focused service with professionalism. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
X‐ray screening experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control requirements at a logistics and distribution location.
Screen individuals, belongings, and deliveries as required, verify identification and credentials, and help manage entry and exit through designated checkpoints.
Monitor cameras and alarm systems, document unusual activity, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities as directed by site policy.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, dock areas, and perimeter points, with working conditions that may vary by location.
