About The Position

As a Security Officer - Gatehouse Concierge in Paradise Valley, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, assisting residents and visitors, and responding to security-related concerns. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a residential community.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and vendor authorization, maintain access records, and communicate access-related information to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of access-control activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and promptly communicate observations through designated channels.
