As a Security Officer Gated Community Assess Control in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and assisting residents and visitors with professionalism. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, document activity, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for residents, guests, contractors, deliveries, and service providers entering the residential location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, delivery, and incident records while communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, common areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
