As a Security Officer Gated Community in Trabuco Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by managing access, verifying visitors, monitoring entry points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a professional presence, and use communication and technology skills to support residents and guests. Requirements

Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor, vendor, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
Communicate professionally with residents and guests while providing directions, answering routine questions, and escalating access concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of community common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.
