As a Security Officer Gated Community in Anaheim Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a commercial real estate location, helping to monitor entry points, manage badges and visitor access, and support daily security-related operations. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must Have Gated Community Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns.
