About The Position

As a Security Officer Gated Community Access Control in Anaheim Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support daily access procedures. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access control points by checking credentials, authorizing entry, and documenting visitor and/or delivery activity in accordance with property rules and post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.
• Support daily building operations by assisting with directions, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and preparing accurate activity and incident reports.
