About The Position

This full-time, first shift Access Control post serves as the initial point of contact for a significant client in Knoxville. It is a customer-facing role requiring strong interpersonal skills, proper phone etiquette, and the ability to multitask while remaining calm and friendly. Candidates must be trustworthy, capable of maintaining confidentiality, and able to write clear, concise, and accurate reports. Security Officers are responsible for protecting industrial or commercial properties against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry. Clients include Class-A Office Buildings, Luxury Residential Properties, Distilleries, Fortune 500 Companies, Financial Institutions, Telecommunications, Manufacturing/Industrial Factories, Hospitals, and various other establishments. Successful candidates will undergo Walden training and must acquire a security license upon starting, a process Walden Security can assist with, which includes state-mandated background checks, fingerprints, a training class, and a licensing fee covered by payroll deductions.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test
  • Polite and strong interpersonal skills
  • Proper phone etiquette
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm and friendly when busy
  • Trustworthy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to write reports in a clear, concise and accurate manner
  • Go through Walden training and acquire a security license upon start
