About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time X Ray Screening Operator in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener in a government services location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening visitors and belongings, supporting access control procedures, and providing professional customer service. You will remain visible, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and help identify and report security-related concerns. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, clients, and staff at a government health and family services location while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies.
Screen individuals entering the facility according to established access-control and screening protocols, communicating professionally and respectfully with diverse populations.
Observe and report suspicious activity, prohibited items, access concerns, and other security-related issues to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the facility perimeter, documenting relevant observations and maintaining accurate activity records.
